Caprese salad with oregano sauce & french toast
Ingredients:
— 4 buffalo mozzarellas, 250 g each
— 4 big and firm tomatoes
— 50 g basil
— 100 ml extra virgin olive oil
— 2 g oregano
— 200 g bread
— 100 ml sunflower oil
First, prepare oregano sauce. Blend oregano with salt and olive oil. Cut dry bread to square shaped pieces and fry in olive oil until brown. Cut mozzarella and tomato to thin slices, and start layer them on top of each other: mozzarella, tomato, mozzarella, tomato, etc. Garnish with french toast. Add more flavour with oregano sauce and basil.
